B&CE has appointed Barbara Dinsdale to head up its Charitable Trust, which provides help and support for construction workers in times of need.
Barbara joins the Charitable Trust from Heart Research UK, where she was Head of Lifestyle, managing the charity’s grant-giving activity, education outreach programme and implementing its health strategy.
Commenting on her appointment, Barbara said:
“I have a strong understanding of the massive impact hardship and debt can have, and I am delighted to join an organisation that makes a real difference to people’s lives. I’m looking forward to playing a key role in moving the Charitable Trust’s work forward, building strategic partnerships and making a difference to people across the construction industry.”
B&CE’s Charitable Trust was set up in 1991 to give back to the community. To date, it has given out over £3 million, providing financial help for people in need. 1
