To help people save more for their retirement, employers must automatically enrol certain types of employees into a pension scheme and pay money into it.

The People’s Pension makes automatic enrolment simple. We designed it especially to help employers meet their automatic enrolment duties and it has already supported tens of thousands of UK businesses with enrolling over 3 million employees.

Automatic enrolment may sound like something from another planet but the staging date for many small businesses – that’s the date they have to put their employees into an automatic enrolment pension scheme – is just around the corner.

The People’s Pension understands alien

The People’s Pension has launched a complete automatic enrolment solution especially for small businesses featuring:

  • a simple sign-up process
  • a high level of support throughout the life of the scheme
  • easy to use online systems
  • flexible administration options, even with no payroll software
  • a UK-based call centre with extended opening hours.

This new full support solution has a one off set-up charge. This charge won’t apply to you or to any of our existing customers of any B&CE products – EasyBuild, Employee Accident Cover and Employee Life Cover.

What happens next?

We’re contacting all of our existing customers six months before their automatic enrolment staging date. You may have already received some information from us about signing up to The People’s Pension.

Already got our EasyBuild pension? It might be suitable as a personal pension, but unlike The People’s Pension, it’s not an automatic enrolment compliant scheme.

Switching from EasyBuild to The People’s Pension is simple and free but not only that, our members (that’s your employees) pay a low 0.5% annual management charge.
