Coronavirus (Covid 19)

Our statement on the coronavirus outbreak: supporting our customers and our colleagues is our priority at B&CE

Extraordinary times

Like most, we’re closely following the latest news and guidance on coronavirus (COVID-19) and the impact it’s having on every aspect of our lives. Extraordinary and challenging times, for sure.

I want to let you know that supporting our customers and our colleagues is our priority at B&CE. Our teams are working around the clock to meet the changing nature of the pandemic, as it impacts our working and home lives.

Meanwhile, we continue to answer queries and look after pension pots.

Getting help and support

When it comes to pension savings, we urge everyone to stay focused on the long term and the bigger picture – you can read more on The People’s Pension website here:

How might coronavirus affect my pension?

People are concerned, understandably, and this means our Contact Centre is dealing with many more enquiries than usual and with fewer staff.

We’re working hard, and reacting as quickly as we can, to continue to provide the service you need. We’re continuously monitoring the situation caused by the coronavirus outbreak and our phone lines are currently limited – so please contact us online if you need to.

For members of The People’s Pension:

  • If you have a general account enquiry, such as checking your pension balance, you can do this in your Online Account. Log in or get set up »

For members of Constructing Better Health, you can find answers to your most common questions here in our online knowledge base. Or you can email us at

For the Charitable Trust, you can email us at

We’re continuing our social media activity, so if you haven’t already, please do connect with us on LinkedIn and Twitter.

Continue to take care of yourselves and your communities.
