Our next free CPD study day for occupational health practitioners will focus on how evidence-based strategies are being used to improve the data-driven world of occupational health

We’re pleased to announce the following guest speakers:

  • Diana Kloss MBE (Hon FFOM, Barrister, Hon President, Council for Work and Health), who’ll be providing valuable insight on consent and confidentiality in occupational health, and how the management of occupational health records need to be compliant with GDPR.
  • Dr Patrick Manu (Senior Lecturer at The University of Manchester). Patrick will present a web-based tool that enables the assessment of occupational capability of design firms, as well as highlights of research into the Design for Health SKATE (Skills, Knowledge, Attitude, Training and Experience) requirements of designers.
  • Emily Andrews (Senior Evidence Manager for Ageing Better). Emily will be talking about becoming an age-friendly employer: the importance of good work and health.
  • Pippa Dolman (Occupational Health Manager at B&CE) and Barbara Dinsdale (Head of B&CE’s Charitable Trust) will speak about the research we’re doing to improve occupational health awareness in the construction industry.

Registration opens at 9.30am. A full lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Certificates of attendance, which can count towards your CPD hours, will be provided after the event
