Patrick Heath-Lay, Chief Executive Officer at B&CE, provider of The People’s Pension, gave evidence to the Work and Pensions Select Committee, as part of its inquiry into workplace pension reform.
Patrick called for more support from regulators for both employers and pension providers. He also made the case for charge standardisation, encouraging all providers to use a single charge.
The Committee is examining the progress made in auto-enrolment and like challenges as small employers reach their staging dates. MPs were also interested in the impact of new pension flexibilities and charges in DC schemes.
