The Construction Employability Award (the Award) is a £25,000 grant awarded at the discretion of the trustees of the Construction Workers’ Charitable Trust to a training organisation or company involved in accredited training that makes a significant difference to the Construction Industry.
In these terms and conditions Charitable Trust, we, us and our means the Construction Workers’ Charitable Trust (registered charity number 1004732).

These terms and conditions apply only to the Award application and assessment process. They are not an offer of funding and do not guarantee that you will receive a grant. If your application is successful, the grant will be subject to separate grant terms and conditions that you must accept.

You must be an organisation registered and based in the United Kingdom which aims to promote health and safety and/or training in the construction industry that leads to employment. You must not be a government organisation, or funded by or linked to a government organisation.

You must not act improperly in connection with the Award. We may reject an application or withdraw an offer if we have concerns about fraud, bribery or other unlawful conduct.
You must inform us as soon as possible if there have been any material changes in the circumstances detailed in your application. Wherever possible, you should notify us of these changes before they occur.
You keep ownership of your application and supporting materials. By submitting an application, you allow us to use, copy, store, assess and share those materials as needed to manage, assess and publicise the Award.
We do not authorise you to use any of our registered trademarks and you are not permitted to use them without our prior written approval.
We may publicise (for example, in any promotional material or the results of the Award) your application or its content using your name, videos, photographs and logo and any information gathered from your application or provided in support of your application (including quotes and/or photographs and/or videos in your application but excluding the confidential and commercially sensitive information you have identified in your application).
We will process personal data provided as part of an application in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable data protection legislation, for assessing application purposes and making Awards and to publicise successful applications. You must ensure that any personal data you provide has been collected and shared lawfully, and that relevant individuals have been given appropriate privacy information. You should not include special category or criminal offence data unless we request it or it is strictly necessary.
We accept no liability for any consequences, whether direct or indirect, that may come about from your application, our processing or consideration of it and any decision made in respect of your application.
We accept no responsibility for lost, corrupted, delayed or mislaid applications.
You agree to indemnify us against all liabilities, damages, losses (including loss of reputation), expenses and costs (including all interest, penalties, legal costs (calculated on a full indemnity basis) and professional costs and expenses) suffered or incurred by us in connection with your application as a result of: your acts or omissions in relation to your application or these terms and conditions; your non-fulfilment of any obligations under these terms and conditions; or your performance or non-performance of any obligation to any third party in relation to your application.
If any provision of these terms and conditions (or part of any provision) is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the legality, validity and enforceability of any other provision (or remaining part provision) of these terms and conditions shall not be affected.
A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions may not enforce any of its terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
The validity, construction and performance of these terms and conditions and all contractual and non-contractual matters arising out of them, shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
