Important changes to eligibility rules and payable benefits

Got a question? Read our key information below about how Employee Accident Cover (EAC) is now only available to employees who live in the UK or Isle of Man and the increased level of payable benefits.

No, the increased level of payable benefits (enhanced benefits) for EAC will come at no extra cost to you or your employees. The payable benefits increased and became effective from 1 February 2021.

We currently have no plans to increase the cost of premiums.
We frequently review our products. As a not-for-profit organisation, our focus has always been on our members and their dependants. We use the money we make to benefit them.

Unfortunately, we can no longer offer EAC cover for members who are resident outside the UK or Isle of Man. If you have an EAC policy, you will need to take the following actions:

• If your cover is set up as EAC only: Ineligible members must be removed from your payment schedule by adding a leave date. You can do this in your Online Services account and can contact us at if you need any help.

• If your cover is set up for EAC together with our pension product, The People’s Pension: You must remove EAC, for ineligible members, from your next file upload, by changing the premiums in the EAC column to 0.00. Please contact us at if you need any help from our support team.
