The Construction Employability Award online application form

Applications for The Construction Employability Award 2024/5 will close at 5pm on 25 October 2024.

Applications for the award must come from UK-based non-government training organisations or companies involved in training, to deliver a project that will make a significant difference to the construction industry.

The award criteria are:

• £20,000 to be awarded on an annual basis to a (private –non government) training organisation or company involved in accredited training, who makes a significant difference to the Construction Industry.
• This can be in any area of the UK or Northern Ireland.
• Project/initiative to operate for a minimum of 12 months and support at least 50 individuals, with the encouragement of minority groups.
• Qualifications must include recognised construction industry accreditations.
• Training must lead to employment within the construction industry and be offered free of charge to participants. Individuals not in employment, education or training to be targeted.
• Recipients of the award must have an ongoing relationship with the Trust for 24 months, providing regular updates on the project/initiative with progression of the learners. You’ll need to provide names of employers you partner with where applicable. Following placement into employment (through the organisations strong networks) tracking would be required for at least a further 12 months to prove updates on outcomes.
